I really appreciate your continued use of the extension! As for the favorites memory limit, there's only 100kB allowed for saving items in the browser memory and I can't expand that. At this time the extension is not in active development anymore so I don't see this changing.

Hey! Love the extension! Thank you so much. Small issue after last update the APOD that shows up in cart each time is random instead of current day. And setting page for extension doesn't load fully. Pic here: https://i.imgur.com/vwgHMAS.png

Thank you Mark for taking a look. To your question, "yes" this is a mistake on my part. In updating my extension to the latest Manifest version (v3.0) I used a starter kit to get up and running and this permission was set by default. I have amended this issue and in v4.1.1 this permission will be removed. I take the permissions of this extension quite seriously for as a user of many things myself I am skeptical of what software is truly doing. With that being said the permissions that are required by this extension are: * New Tabs - enables the extension to take over your new tab screen * Storage - allows the feature of saving favorites to work. Hopefully you'll reconsider installing APOD By the Trav! -Travis
