    It stopped working for me earlier this week, or perhaps around the time the chat in Meet got updated. Not sure. Sometimes meetings will start with both off, sometimes mic or video will be on, sometimes both will be on. I got so used to starting meetings with opt-in sound and camera that sometimes I am caught in the middle of eating! I hope it can be fixed soon, I really loved this! Should be possible by default but hey, it's google, what do you expect from this multi-trillion dollar company?

    It's absurd that Google Meet can't do this itself. But it's great that someone's written a extension that only does this one thing, does it simply, and does it well.

    This should be in the product natively, but you've done a great job. One minor issue, when I switch to another tab Meet opens in a pop out automatically, but there are some rendering problems with this, for example I see "radio button checked", "speech to text" etc. Any chance you can fix this?
