May 3, 2026No data is read or collected. The previous version 6.8 (which was up for two hours) used "tabs" to function, which Chrome classifies as "reading browsing history". I figured out how to NOT use tabs, so the current version 6.8.1 does not use it.

Mar 18, 2026Absolutely amazing extensions. Instead of writing some @!#$% message that the extension might not be supported soon, the chrome team should go out of their way to support this application, or make their own replacement for it. I am disappointed that such a big and powerful company like google needs to rely on a random civilian to make this extension instead of having their own version.

Mar 14, 2026I love this extension so much. I use it almost daily and it's the best internal latex compiler for Gmail. There is an issue where it's being deprecated because of Chrome's latest policies. I really hope the maintainer updates the package to work with Chrome again.

Sep 16, 2025For those who still want to use the extension: despite it no longer being available for download on Chrome, it is still available and working on Microsoft Edge (yes you can literally just download Chrome extensions on Edge). Other extensions of mine that got disabled (ad block....) are also still available on Edge as well.

Aug 20, 2025For those new comers who want to add this extension but the "Add to Chrome" button is grayed out: you can still add it! Just go to developer tools, find the html code for the button elements, delete the "disabled" keyword, and you can use this button again. Hooray
