May 18, 2026Thanks for the feedback Drew, and for taking the time to write. I am sorry for the confusion. The extension includes a scope toggle that switches between This Window Only and All Open Windows. You will find it in the header of the popup, the small window icon next to the gear icon. Click it once to restore duplicate detection across all Chrome windows. Your preference is saved, so you only need to change it once. In the next release, which is rolling out shortly, I am also adding this option directly to the Settings dialog as a clearly labeled setting: Scope: All Open Windows / This Window Only. This will make it much easier to find. Thanks again for the feedback. If changing the scope does not restore the behavior you remember, please reach out through the support link and I will be happy to look into it.

Sep 30, 2025Sorry to hear it didn't work for your use case. I'm eager to hear more and see how we could address it. The extension offers different match modes under Settings. By default, it matches by URL or Title, which could cause duplicates if you have many pages with the same title under one host. You can adjust the matching behavior or even apply more complex rules in the Settings to address your needs.
