Will update review if I get it to work. Can you open an issue in http://github.com/ruifigueira/playwright-crx/issues ? To check if there are logged errors, right click the icon extension > Manage Extension then: - on the right top corner, check Developer Mode - click Inspect views > service worker - this will open a Devtools popup - check console If there are errors copy and paste them into the issue.
