Jan 14, 2025If you are using Brave browser like I am this does more harm than good. Brave (and lots of other browsers) has built in randomization, so adding an extension just makes your fingerprint stand out. If you are unsure, you can test your results at coveryourtracks.com

Dec 29, 2024I spent TWO DAYS debugging my project because of this extension! Every image I drew on a canvas it was getting random colour tints. I was about to throw my pc out the window. Turns out, Canvas Fingerprint Defender was the cause of the issue. Disabled it, and poof - problem solved. This extension might be fine for privacy, but the side effects should be mentioned clearly. Save yourself the headache and disable it while coding.
