Go here to set a shortcut for the extension to create the URL with Brave too. brave://extensions/shortcuts Would be cool if it allowed for settings allowing you to use "start" and "end" phrases for longer text instead of a super long URL. (You define how many words to use for the "start" and "end" text.) I take it back. It already does this. It's just that *it* decides when a long URL is too long. Would be nice to have some manual control of this. Otherwise, this is ...

Apr 23, 2025There's a Brave github issue on text fragments. Apparently, this works on Brave nightly, and the change will come to stable release Brave on 29 April 2025. Literally the bad reviews are not even the extensions fault, since all this does is create the link. but also not necessary anymore (brave) because brave has it's own feature
