After using Delinea for a while, I would say that this extension really needs to be overhauled as right onw, it is borderline unusable. Comparing this to the Bitwarden extension and user interface, it's like night and day. Autofill on Delinea does not work, it is cumbersome from a UX perspective to store and save passwords. It's difficult to search and if you want to use the web app, you have to sign in and 2FA two times. One to sign into the extension, another to sign into the site. That sh...

Consistently shows password entries to which I do not have access. Consistently shows passwords which do not match the current URL in any way. The only good thing I can say about it so far is that it does actually fill in passwords on pages which I launch from the plugin.

Works once every blue moon and the barometric pressure on Pluto needs to be just right! Don't try to find a pattern, there is none. (We are over 250 in IT where I work and we all tried!) And when it does kinda work, it makes me feel like the UI has been designed by 2 blind men before the internet was a thing! I mean not very intuitive sorry. Basically useless unfortunately :((( I hate to say that because Secret Server in general is very good IMHO. Please get on it Delinea, Altho I am purely...

Hello, and thank you for reaching out to us. We understand the frustration caused by this issue. This limitation arises from Google Chrome’s recent requirement that all browser extensions use Manifest V3, which restricts extensions such as Web Password Filler from connecting to servers with self-signed certificates. Manifest V3 no longer permits extensions to bypass certificate checks, a feature previously available in Manifest V2. To continue using Web Password Filler with your Secret Server instance, please install a certificate issued by a Certificate Authority (CA) that Chrome can validate. We’ve detailed this limitation, along with key differences between Manifest V2 and V3 in handling self-signed certificates, in our Web Password Filler documentation.: https://docs.delinea.com/online-help/web-password-filler/using-wpf/self-signed-certificates.htm If purchasing a certificate is not an option, you can create a locally trusted certificate by setting up a local CA, adding it as a trusted signing authority on your computer, and issuing a certificate for Secret Server. The steps to do this may vary depending on your system, and online guides are available with step-by-step instructions for both Windows and Linux. If you have further questions or would like additional assistance, please please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team at [email protected]. We’re here to help ensure your experience with Web Password Filler is as smooth as possible.
