    I love this extension so much due to its minimalistic nature. I just wish that they add a seconds feature but all in all its great!

    I'm having trouble reproducing this issue. Dark Reader doesn't actually have access to the new tab page. And the new tab page loads instantly. If you change the background to be dark (see the gear in the bottom left corner), it stays that way.
