    2. Chrome extensions cannot add custom items to the context menu that appears when you right-click a browser tab. Regarding the context menu that appears when you right-click on the page itself: I highly dislike context menu pollution. You can just pin the extension and click its icon; or set up rules to auto lock tabs. 1. Could it be that you're closing the tab before interacting with the page? After locking, some interaction with the page is required for it to work. So you need to, for example, click anywhere on the page after locking to actually prevent the tab from being closed. This is how Chrome works.

Hi, Timothy. Could it be that you're closing the tab before interacting with the page? After locking, some interaction with the page is required for it to work. So you need to, for example, click anywhere on the page after locking to actually prevent the tab from being closed. This is how Chromium (Edge) works. I just tested Lock Tab in Edge and worked fine for me. Does it break in all sites for you or only a specific one? Please try this and if it still does not work for you I'd be happy to assist if you file an issue in https://github.com/gabrielmaldi/chrome-lock-tab/issues

Pretty perfect for exactly what I was looking for with no additional. superfluous functionality. There's _something odd_ about making the lock stick, but once it does, the feature works perfectly.

Hi, Theo. Chrome doesn't load the extension in tabs which were open before you installed it. It's like installing a new door lock and expecting it to prevent the thief that's already in your house from entering!
