    Generally what Chris (the guy below me) said. You all wouldn't be here if that idiot Bagon was actually right, in that Webp is full adopted. News flash: it still ain't after all these years ever since it came into existence around 2010. 16 years later and still bare minimum compatibility. If it took even Firefox to support it only 7 years ago and Safari 6 years, then you know how bad it is. Only Chrome and other Google services would have full support for it. Can't say the same for many other...
