May 24, 2026Awesome for online learning :) After annotating, you can see all the notes you made on a page, which I really like.

Mar 5, 2026Hi Mike, I'm sorry for the confusion. Probably, the UI can be more intuitive for the new users. The extension does indeed support adding notes. To add a comment, simply click on any text you have highlighted, and a note box will appear. You can see a quick breakdown of how this works on our site: https://annotate-web.com I’d love to walk you through it personally and hear your thoughts on how we can improve the UI. If you're open to it, please email me at [email protected] so we can schedule a brief demo. Your input would be incredibly valuable in helping us make the feature easier to find for everyone.

Jan 30, 2026Hello, Thank you for the feedback! It is possible that another extension is interfering with the pop-up menu, but there is actually a built-in shortcut that should help you here. Please try holding the Alt key (or Option on Mac) while selecting the text. This will force a one-off highlight immediately. Once the text is highlighted, you can simply click on it to add your note. If this doesn't solve the issue, I’d love to help you troubleshoot it directly. Please email me at [email protected] so we can set up a quick call. We can figure out the problem together, and I can give you a short demo on the best workflow for the extension.
