Hi Cassi, I'm sorry to hear the extension stopped working, especially as a paying user. I really appreciate your support. I'm not able to reproduce the bug, if you email me at [email protected] with what you're seeing and the page or site where it happens, I'll dig into it personally. And if SwiftRead isn't working for you right now and you need help canceling your subscription, I understand and can help with that too. Troy, Developer of SwiftRead

Thanks for trying it, and sorry the free version felt limited. It actually does more than it used to — free reading plus reasonable free allowances for audio narration, PDFs, ePub, Kindle Cloud reading, and AI summaries — so you can experience more of SwiftRead before deciding on Pro. As a solo developer, those usage limits are what make it possible to keep building and maintaining the app long-term. If there's a specific thing you were hoping to do that felt blocked, I'd genuinely like to hear it — email me at [email protected] and I read every message. Troy, Developer of SwiftRead

I hear you, and I appreciate you being a long-time user. The free version actually got broader with the new experience — free reading plus reasonable limits on audio narration, PDFs, ePub, Kindle Cloud, and AI summaries — and those limits are what keep it sustainable for me to develop solo. But "no actual utility" tells me something's off for the way you read, and I want to understand it. If you preferred the older reader, eligible accounts can switch back to the Legacy version — email me at [email protected] and I'm glad to check yours. I read and respond to every message. Thank you, Nicola — really glad it's working well for you. A gradual speed ramp (easing from a starting WPM up to a target) isn't something I have planned right now, but I can see exactly why it'd be useful and I've noted the use case. On going back to the legacy version: eligible accounts can switch back to the Legacy reader, so if you'd like that, email me at [email protected] and I'll check your account. I also hear you on load time — that's something I keep an eye on. I read and respond to every message. Troy, Developer of SwiftRead
