To be transparent, I actually give away Weather Pro access if someone asks. While I understand the frustration, the extension has ongoing costs that run into hundreds of dollars each month for weather data, servers, and infrastructure, so users who do upgrade, help to keep the extension running. That said, we're happy to work with you—just send us an email and we'll get you taken care of. Thanks for supporting the extension!

May 27, 2026Hi sorry you are experiencing this issue. There is a setting to increate how often the extension checks for the latest weather without clicking the icon. Please try changing this setting to see if it resolves the issue.
