    Hi Rudy, Chrome has been making some changes to how extensions store and read data recently which might be the cause of the issues that you're seeing. Could you please try the following and let me know if you see any improvements? 1. Use a shorter audio file: If the audio file you're using is long, there's a chance that the extension is crashing as it's trying to load the sound. Try using a different audio file to see if that fixes the issue. 2. Uninstall and reinstall the extension: This can sometimes fix persistent issues related to sound storage and playback. Please let me know if either of the above work!

    Hi there! It's possible that your WhatsApp isn't set up to play sound. Please try the following: 1. Make sure that you're using the latest version of Google Chrome. 2. Go to web.whatsapp.com. Click the Settings (gear icon) in the bottom left corner > select "Notifications" > make sure that "Incoming sounds" is checked. 3. Open the WhatsApp Notification Sound Changer extension. Remove the current custom sound, if one is set, then upload a new one. 4. Refresh web.whatsapp.com. 5. Have someone message you and see if it plays the sound now -- it should be working. Please let me know if this works!

    This extension is super easy to use—just install, upload your favorite audio file, and refresh WhatsApp . And it supports dark mode! Highly recommend!
